This is the email you’ve been waiting for: announcing SOCKEYE CURBSIDE LIBRARY!
What is Sockeye Curbside Library:
- A program that allow ALL Sunset students the opportunity to get books from the school library while at home during remote learning.
How it will work:
- Each month a student completes the online book request survey (date below)
o The survey is interest-based
o There are no holds
o Ms Arika will do her best to fulfill specific requests
- Students may receive up to 3-4 books per month
o Books will be ready for October’s Student Material Pick Up
o To share the wealth, only 1 book per style/series
- Previous month books must be returned prior to picking up new books
o More information about returns will be emailed in October
- Any books uncollected on pick-up day will be re-shelved
- The process will repeat monthly

2. Pick up your books the week of Oct 5
a. To be coordinated with Student Materials Pick-Up, meaning fewer trips to Sunset!
3. Returning books – details coming in a follow-up email
4. Start again!
We will all learn together and repeat the process next month for November pick-up.
