Grades 2 and 3 celebrated International Dot Day in library. This unit had students exploring many facets of Dot Day: researching to find how many students around the world celebrated Dot Day, reading The Dot by Peter Reynolds, and creating augmented reality dots. Grade 3 extended their learning by discussing safer photo sharing using pictures Ms. Arika took during the event.

Make your mark, and see where it takes you. - Peter Reynolds, The Dot

Students were riveted with the AR content creation using QuiverVision's free iPad app and downloadable coloring sheet.
